Practice identifying the correct ending for plural nouns using add -s, add -es or drop the y and add -ies with this noun sort and memory match activity. Your students will sort each of the 40 singular nouns into the correct plural ending treasure chest. Each chest is labeled: (add s, add es, drop the y and add -ies)
This set can also be used:
- as a memory game for literacy centers (Print both singular and plural cards)
- as a partner match (have students find their partner, one will have the singular and one will have the plural)
